Dear God,
Safe to say it has been a while since I last wrote you. There hasn't been a moment I didn't think about writing. So many things and excuses as to why I "couldn't write" Doubt began to settle in with this blog and my podcast because they are "little".
Last week I heard a speaker at a church service, I listened to. He spoke about "Here feels Little but here is Holy" He said something that really hit me. He asked, "Have you ever considered what God can do with your little? " He follows by asking "How does God feel about me calling this God given thing within me little?"
After hearing that. I felt horrible, because how dare I!!?
Acknowledging every time you gave me all the ideas in my mind. Acknowledging you planted these great things in my heart. Yet having these thoughts in my head?... Im sorry My Lord.
1 Kings 17: 10-16
"10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah. "
I know you can make my little anything HUGE and successful. Thank you for these God Given ideas ! Moving forward I will stand firm in this. In your promises my Lord.
This verse kinda makes me think of the snowball effect. For example, any person starts off with a small idea (small snowball at the beginning), they keep growing it by investing time and energy into said thing, by staying consistent they gain momentum. Thus, the snowball gets bigger and bigger and bigger! I believe no idea will get so big without action and without you My Lord!! The majority of the time, when I write these letters to you... I want to run up to you and give you the biggest hug ever! I love you My Lord and Savior! Thank you for your word, your love and your favor on my life.
